Whoa! A new post!

That's right guys! It's time for a new post! I bet that you forgot about me. I bet you thought that I forgot about you.
But I didn't!
And if you're reading this that means that you didn't either!
So here we go, updates with my life...

Where to start? How about school, since that's been the main focus of my life. Or at least part of it. Well, since I can't remember how far back I've left off or how much you know about me, I'm just gonna backtrack a little and explain a little bit more.
I originally came to college as a business major. Not because I wanted to be a business tycoon and rule the world, but because I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. But as I started to take classes I realized that business courses were composed of a lot of classes that I had no interest in. Then I started to look at the classes that I enjoyed the most, which happened to be English. The rest is, as they say, history.
So now I'm a Literature major planning on going into the MAT program so I can learn them hooligans in high school some grammar. But looking back I'm really happy that I chose to change my major. It surprises me nowadays how many people can graduate college without really learning anything. Sure they now how to manage accounts or know how to submit a business proposal, but it seems that they don't know anything about life or how little cultures have changed. Through studying literature one finds out the cultures of the past. I love reading Shakespeare and I hope one day I can inspire someone else like my teachers have inspired me. And right now I just finished my Junior year, and as of tomorrow I will have finished my first class as a senior.

As most of you know, I am an RA, but not for much longer! When I move out over this weekend, I will no longer be living in housing. I'm rooming with one of my brothers. I have a strange feeling that I will want to do rounds around the house and then type up a duty report. Actually, I probably won't. So instead of working as an RA I will now be working at the GIVE Center. The GIVE Center is where all volunteer work at Georgia College is done. I think last year the college had over 50,000 hours tracked, and the workers at the GIVE Center are responsible for making sure that all the hours get tracked in the database. We'll also help at the large events. I'm really excited because I love all the people that are working and I've already volunteered a lot up there, so I pretty much have been working there.

What else is new? Oh yeah, I have a girlfriend! And she's amazing. But, I'll talk about her more later.

For now, I believe that's enough. I really just wanted to post something and I kinda started ranting again. But it's my blog, so I'll do as I please.
