Nicknames

In the fraternity everyone gets a nickname. Obviously, mine is Beast. So today I thought it would be fun to take you through a few of the nicknames and how they came about.

Beast
I got this nickname during the homecoming parade. We all dressed up like Smurfs and skipped around the float as it went down the road. When I say we dressed up like Smurfs, I mean we painted ourselves from head to toe in this blue paint. It was great getting that off in the shower... Anyway, I am a very hairy dude, and when I was painted up everyone said I looked like the Beast from X-Men.

Aquaman
He got this nickname because when he was a freshmen he took long showers. Why was he taking long showers? It's because he had three lady friends in there too. That's right. He also used to be a lifeguard at a beach. One day he heard some screams and he saw a shark in the distance. The problem was there was a little baby right by it. Being the hero that he is, he swims out there, fights off the shark and saved the baby from drowning. He then rode off in the sunset on the backs of two sea turtles. It was epic.

Purple Rain
He is my little brother, and a prince from Nigeria. Since he is a prince, I named him Purple Rain after the Prince song. Now he has his own theme song.

Ray Ray
He got his nickname while playing an intramural football game. The game was co-ed and it was two hand touch only. Ray Ray gets in the zone and tackles the running back. The thing is, the running back was a girl, and he slammed her to the ground. Now, this wouldn't have been so bad except he proceeded to do a Ray Louis victory dance. Way to go Ray Ray.

Those are just a few nicknames. There are a lot more, and I think I'm going to save that for a post next week.
